IPPIS: Nigeria Government Sets Final Deadline For Final Validation

Published

The federal government has set February 17 as the final deadline for civil servants to validate their identity on the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS).

The validation exercise is part of ongoing efforts to eliminate ghost workers, enhance payroll transparency, and curb financial leakages within the civil service.

The government has previously extended the deadline multiple times to allow workers to complete the process, but this latest announcement signals a firm stance on full compliance.

Civil servants are required to confirm their details through designated IPPIS verification centers nationwide. The government has also urged ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs) to ensure that their employees complete the process before the cut-off date.
